THE JOURNEY SERIES 

Some of the landscape scenes depicted in this series are almost real, and most are imagined -

a sort of true fairytale. I love to paint these places when I find them. My hope is that you will be

reminded of your own journey - and that maybe these little stories make you recall a time and place

that has been forgotten... little spans of time in a much too busy world.

 

Each landscape depiction has been created with acrylic and varnish on a birch panel or Masonite board, with some works crafted with a handmade balsa box that includes a found object fitted into the image.

This gallery also features triptychs (three works viewed as one complete piece) made from antique sewing machine drawer frames assembled with paintings made with acrylic and varnish on Masonite board.
